David Murphy was born in Ireland and graduated with an honours Law degree from Queen’s University Belfast in 1995. He also holds a Masters in European Intellectual Property Law from Stockholm University (2005). From 1995 to 2002, David worked in International Finance for investment banks in Ireland, Australia and Sweden.

In 2002, he started to work as a translator and corporate trainer before going on to found Word of Mouth Communications. Word of Mouth Communications currently provides language services such as translations, editing and Financial English training to the financial community and the finance departments of companies operating in a wide variety of business sectors.
